Public Administration (Distance)

The Public Administration Course meets the public comtemporary organizations that are in search of managers with an holistic view of the administrative actions and governmental policies, and are capacitaded to exercise a national, regional and international level management, in a way that contributes to the reach on the nation's goals. The course is focused on forming professionals capable to act efficiently in the public management context, ethicly, colaborating to reach the goal og governmental and non-governmental organizations, in a way that facilitates the meeting of needs and society development. The course comtemplates solid formation in the administrative theories and emphasises the development of necessary compentences to a good performance of a public sector employee, besides a general formation that enables a modern manager profile, that is able to plan, organize, direct and control actions and public politcies in the several government branches. To meet the demands of higher learning formation of public gestors, including faraway countys, UFLA offers the Public Administration in the distance education modality, as a way to widen the number of beneficiaries in a free, quality higher learning, colaborating to the development of the Brazilian society.
