Physical Education (Licentiate)
The course of Physical Education aims to prepare teachers to act in school environments that are guided by knowledge of scientific nature based on biological and human sciences. At the end of the course, the teacher will be able to work pedagogically and in an intentional way with the corporal culture of movement expressed in games, sports, dance, fights, capoeira, gymnastics and circus corporal practices.
Simultaneously, the course offers the students preparation to act in all branches of elementary education, such as: Children Education, First and Last grades of Elementary School and High School. With its tradition of 30 years, broad structure and qualified teaching staff, the licentiate in Physical Education at UFLA is provided with the teaching initiation scholarships and is given with various laboratories, which makes possible the full academic development of its students.
